50 aluminum scuba tanks with valves, belts and weights (If you do not have your own diving equipment you can rent it on board, but please book it at least 30 days in advance of your trip).

All dives are done from a dive tender, allowing easy access to all the best diving sites. You will appreciate that the dive deck features both a camera rinse tank and table and that nitrox is available. After diving, guests can relax in the air-conditioned saloon with a complimentary beer, wine or a cup of coffee, check their images on the onboard computer, or enjoy some music or movies on the entertainment system.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Galaexplorer is authorized by the Galapagos National Park authorities to do two types of itineraries: 8 days full diving itinerary and 8 day naturalist cruise itinerary.
  • After diving, guests can relax in the air-conditioned saloon with a complimentary beer, wine or a cup of coffee, check their images on the onboard computer, or enjoy some music or movies on the entertainment system. Comfort, service and serious diving in the remote islands of the Galapagos are the highlights of diving on board Galacruises Pinguino Explorer.

 

Facilities and Accommodation:

  • There are 8 cabins with private bathrooms:
  • 4 bunk beds cabins with windows in the upper deck
  • 1 Master cabin with ocean view on the main deck (1 double bed and 1 upper bed).                                                                                      
  • 3 bunk beds cabins with portholes in the lower deck.

Galacruises I – Pinguino Explorer is a custom-built live aboard dive boat with good space for diving comfort and relaxation from the moment you step on board.

MENU, CUISINE TYPE
Meals are served menu-style using the freshest ingredients available. You can expect a range of Ecuadorian and international cuisine. Tea, coffee, water are also available. Beer, wine, and soft drinks can be bought on board. The last night's meal can be taken in a restaurant in Puerto Ayora.

  • Ecuadorian and international main meal dishes.
  • Air-conditioned restaurant menu service on main deck.
  • Pre-breakfast, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks are provided.
  • Coffee, tea, drinking water, soft drinks are all provided free of charge.
  •  The catering service begins with dinner on the first evening of the cruise.
